CampOKellyLego camp

Boy's Basketball Shooting/Competition Camp (Grades 5-12) - August 2 - 4, 2009

This basketball camp, for boys entering 5-12 grade, will work to make your son a better shooter. The camp will focus on the shooting fundamentals including shooting technique, footwork, moving without the basketball, and shooting on the pass or dribble. Games will also be played to incorporate the shooting skills.

cScibot Lego Intro Camp - August 3 - 7, 2009

The cScibot camp will place participants ages 10-14 in a fun and exciting setting where they will build and program LEGO Mindstorm robots. With help from faculty and students majoring in computer science, participants will learn to program their robot to accomplish a challenging series of activities. THIS CAMP IS FULL!

cScibot Lego Advanced Camp - August 3 - 7, 2009

This is an advanced camp for students who have attended our intoductory camp. Each camper in the advanced camp will use a Lego Mindstorm NXT™ robot to solve new and expanded challenges.

Summer Art Camp - Mosaic Madness (6 -13 year olds) - August 3 - 7, 2009

Lisa Arnold is a mosaic artist who lives in Minneapolis and who has conducted residencies and school art programs with all ages of youth. Students who attend her camp will get to create within a "Sky's-the-Limit" atmosphere.

Summer Strings - Chamber Music Day Camps - August 3 - 13, 2009

Are you interested in an introduction to chamber music? Do you want to  grow as musician this summer? If you do, then this is the summer  program for you! You will gain chamber-ensemble experience as you  learn to work cooperatively with other musicians at your playing  level. This program will help you develop rehearsal techniques,  musical concepts, and a team approach to ensemble playing.

Summer Concert in the Garden Series - The GreenMan Band - Aug. 4, 2009

Bring a lawn chair or bring a blanket, but be sure to bring a friend! Enjoy one of the best music series this summer in the North Dakota Museum of Art's sculpture garden while Museum chef Deb Douglass runs the BBQ grill.

GreenMan centers its music in the traditional Celtic music of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Brittany. The melding of these traditional influences, some hundreds of years old, with contemporary arrangements, has created a unique sound in this four-piece band.

Google Earth to Teach Geography of Western Hemisphere - August 4-5, 2009

This workshop is designed to show participants how best to utilize Google Earth and archived form of remote sensing, when teaching about the geography of the Western Hemisphere.

Summer Concert in the Garden Series - Post-Traumatic Funk Syndrome - August 25, 2009

Bring a lawn chair or bring a blanket, but be sure to bring a friend! Enjoy one of the best music series this summer in the North Dakota Museum of Art's sculpture garden while Museum chef Deb Douglass runs the BBQ grill.

Back for their third year! Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome is Fargo’s newest and hottest classic rock / horn band. This twelve-piece group (six horns, keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, male and female vocals) performs the best of classic horn band hits.
